Hey, this is Devon! I’m the creator of 3D for Designers. Last week, we talked about designing for the exciting world of augmented reality (AR). AR enriches your physical environment with an overlay of graphics and data, and is one of several platforms paving the future of design. These experiences are popular for their immersive qualities: users interact with the world in a way that feels natural, but still get the benefits of technology. Emerging platforms are also driven by three-dimensional space, making 3D an urgently-needed foundation for this upcoming era of design. In other words, it’s time to get some 3D in your life!
